【摘要】:ThispartofISO/IEC9798specifieseightentityauthenticationmechanismsbasedonmanualdatatransferbetweenauthenticatingdevices.Itindicateshowthesemechanismscanbeusedtosupportkeymanagementfunctions,andprovidesguidanceonsecurechoicesofparametersforthemechanisms.Acomparisonofthelevelsofsecurityandefficiencyprovidedbytheeightmechanismsisgiven.Suchmechanismscanbeappropriateinavarietyofcircumstances.Onesuchapplicationoccursinpersonalnetworks,wheretheowneroftwopersonaldevicescapableofwirelesscommunicationswishesthemtoperformanentityauthenticationprocedureaspartoftheprocessofpreparingthemforuseinthenetwork.
