【摘要】:Flat-rolledelectricalsteelmastercoilsareusuallyslitintonarrowercoils.Usuallytheseslitcoilsarepunchedorshearedintolaminationsofvariousshapes.Thelaminationsarethenuniformlystackedtobecomethecoresofmagneticdevicessuchasmotorsandtransformers.Uniformstackingofmanylaminationsexhibitingexcessivetapercausesassemblyproblemsandpoorappearance.Nonuniformstacklengthsinmotorscauseimbalanceandnoise.Whenthelaminationsareinterleavedintransformers,tapercausesairspaceswithinthecoreresultinginincreasednoise,excitingcurrent,andcoreloss.1.1Thistestmethodprovidesaprocedureformeasuringedgetaperandcrownofflat-rolledelectricalsteelcoilsasproducedatthesteelmill.1.2Thevaluesandequationsstatedincustomary(cgs-emuandinch-pound)unitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Withinthisstandard,theSIunitsareshowninbrackets.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththisstandard.1.3Thefollowingmaterialspecificationsincluderequirementsforedgetaperorcrown:A677,A683,A726,A840/A840M,andA876.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
