【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversnonreinforcedconcretepipeintendedtobeusedfortheconveyanceofsewage,industrialwastes,stormwater,andfortheconstructionofculverts.1.2AcompletemetriccompaniontoSpecificationC14hasbeendeveloped-C14M;therefore,nometricequivalentsarepresentedinthisspecification.Note1-Thisspecificationisamanufacturingandpurchasespecificationonlyanddoesnotincluderequirementsforbedding,backfill,ortherelationshipbetweenfieldloadconditionsandthestrengthclassificationofpipe.However,experiencehasshownthatthesuccessfulperformanceofthisproductdependsupontheproperselectionoftheclassofpipe,typeofbeddingandbackfill,andcarethattheinstallationconformstotheconstructionspecifications.Theowneriscautionedthathemustcorrelatethefieldrequirementswiththeclassofpipespecifiedandprovidefororrequireinspectionattheconstructionsite.
