【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversarapidportablemeansforfieldandlaboratoryusetoratetheabilityofdieselfuels(bothneatandthosecontainingadditives)toreleaseentrainedoremulsifiedwaterwhenpassedthroughfiberglasscoalescingmaterial.ThistestmethodisapplicabletodieselfuelssuchasD975GradeNo.1andGradeNo.2ofallsulfurlevels,andMIL-F-16884,navaldistillatefuel(NATOF-76).Note1ThistestmethodissimilartoTestMethodD3948whichisapplicabletoaviationturbinefuels.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
